Furthermore, they can support enormous loads of weight, being even able to be used as earth containers in depressions or as foundations for houses and structures in general. Metal gabions can be reused countless times, because they can be moved even when fully loaded.
Gabions are also draining, they are used for the creation of water drainage in land and soils for the stabilization and drainage of landslides by reducing the interstitial pressure.
